A Quick Update…
Fall is here, and quite a few exciting things are happening. I recently completed a website for The Oak Grove Church and am working on several other sites as well. I’ve recently teamed up with Dan Sapala of Common Sense Technology Solutions to work on some projects together. Dan is a great guy, not to mention an outstanding programmer. Together, we make a dynamite team, fully capable of taking your business or personal website out of mediocrity. We are currently building websites for local businesses, including Supreme Manufacturing, Inc. and John’s Auto Sales. If you are looking to increase your web presence and/or drive sales, I would encourage you to check us out!
In more personal news, as of Sept. 17, I am engaged to my girlfriend, Nancy. We are planning a wedding in the summer of 2011, and I could not be happier.
Another facet of my life is my family’s gospel group, The Keelings. We are in the process of recording 2 new albums, one of Christmas music, and another of traditional/gospel/worship music. Typically, this is the process:
- Practice new songs
- Produce soundtracks to sing the songs live.
- Sing the songs over, and over, and over, and…
- Record the songs
- Listen to the recording over, and over, and…
- Release the CD to the public
- Never listen to it again.
Honestly, you hear the music so much that you’re tired of it in the process of making it. However, I believe this Christmas album will be different. The tracks are fantastic and have been orchestrated by Milton Smith, and I was able to overlay some brass parts over top of several of them. I think this will be one of our best albums, and probably one that I will listen to quite often throughout the Christmas season. So, if you’re a fan of The Keelings, be on the lookout for this in the coming months.
I think that just about does it. Feel free to post comments or questions here on the blog, or via the contact form on the main site.
